More info

Miswane interrogates the very notion of “sitting to work,” “sitting to obey,” and “sitting to submit.” Visibly uncomfortable, its sole purpose is to question the seated posture, often perceived as universal or natural.

This is a critical stance. A sculptural NO that inadvertently casts a shadow.

Miswane is a work to be experienced—or avoided. It denies you the act of sitting… But invites you to reflect, standing.
